First Things First, welcome!

I wanted to make the community accessible for everyone to have a simple and effective way to provide updates.

For Starters, Who Am I?

My name is Eric Piccione and I have moved out of America in search for a more simple and frankly, better life in Russia. I am married to a Russian Citizen and we have a 3 Year Old Daughter now.

Over the years I have come to realize that life in America is not the dream it once was.

While I Don't have any animosity for the country as I was very blessed throughout my life, the next chapter of our life is abundantly clear that it is best served in Russia.

I have plenty of friends and family that are in the US and while To be such a long distance away, it is absolutely the best decision for us.

Where Are We Moving To?

Since making the move here we have decided to settle down in the city of Yaroslavl to be close to my wife's family.

I have Been to Russia five times over the last 7 years so I Have a very clear picture of what life is like in Russia. And ever since the first visit, Russia has proved to be nothing like what the western media portrays it to be. that is something I can genuinely appreciate the life we are going to be living here.

Any Potential Challenges With This Move?

Of course there will be some challenges Like moving money from the states to Russia and communicating and staying in touch with family back home.

To be fair this is something that we have slowly adjusted to over the years as before the big move to Russia we lived in Ohio away from all of our family back in Texas.

One might say over the years we were subconsciously preparing for such a dramatic move and now the time has finally come.

The Future Ahead

My goal with this community is to provide frequent updates on our life in Russia and any other topics that I find interesting in hopes of and giving others more clarity on what we're up to.
